BAILEY HYDRAULICS KNOXVILLE, TN OCTOBER 2013 - JUNE 2015 (1.75 YEARS)
Role as a general marketing specialist for Bailey International Hydraulics in Knoxville, TN. Daily tasks included creating email blasts and banners, eBay duties, creating graphics for print and web, technical illustration and product photography. Played a key role in re-branding the company by redesigning logo and creating a new color scheme and typographical guideline for advertising going forward. Worked closely with the rest of the marketing team to find a way to streamline and automate many components of quarterly catalog production. Illustrated vector images for the website category icons, technical applications and more. Worked with supervisor to design a full size trade show display from conception to the final product. The trade show booth featured a massive steel structure with high resolution color panel graphics. The booth has traveled to several events, both regional and national including the annual IFPE conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. Working within tight deadlines and handling massive projects has resulted in growth in skills like teamwork, communication and product knowledge.

At Top Gun Customz I learned and honed skills in web development, database management, customer service and graphic design for print and web applications. Had work featured in multiple major publications, including Diesel Power Magazine, 8 Lug, The Ultimate Truck Guide, and Recoil Magazine. Had the opportunity to work with a printing company to develop graphics for a SEMA show truck and a large format banner to be used at a popular Monster Jam event. Worked with the client to design and develop a look for a professionally used monster truck. Even gained photography and photo editing skills. On an average day I developed ads, managed inventory on eBay and digital storefront, developed graphical content for the website, and assisted fellow employees with any tech related issues. Also frequently wrote and edited code in HTML and CSS and gained a basic understanding of Front End Web Development / PHPmyadmin.
